We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Customer Service Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment, providing essential administrative support while helping to ensure the smooth day\-to\-day operation of our transport department.

As a key member of the team, you will act as a central point of coordination, supporting customers, drivers, and internal colleagues while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the transport office.

  • Handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Accurately log, update, and maintain transport job records.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and internal departments.

  • Identify and escalate operational issues or irregularities to management.

  • Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal requirements.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure information is updated in a timely manner.
Skills \& Experience
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a transport, logistics, or operational environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.

  • A proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team.

  • Knowledge of routing systems, telematics, or heavy haulage operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
