Customer Service Administrator - Part Time
Joseph Ash Galvanizing operates nine galvanizing plants across the UK and is part of Hill \& Smith PLC, a leading international group of companies specialising in engineering, infrastructure, and industrial solutions.
We are currently looking for a part time Customer Service Administrator at our Widnes site with responsibility for providing efficient administrative and customer support to ensure the smooth running of customer service operations.
The role involves managing customer enquiries, logging and monitoring complaints, capturing and reporting OTIF (On Time In Full) performance data, and supporting general office administration activities.
Location:\- *Widnes, Cheshire*
Working Hours:\- *25 per week.*
Working Pattern:\- *Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. Actual hours can be flexible within these times.*
Salary:\- *£16,900*
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate information to customers regarding orders, deliveries and services.
- Liaise with internal and external contacts to resolve customer queries efficiently.
- Log and monitor complaints accurately to ensure timely resolution.
- Log delivery performance information.
- Capture and maintain accurate OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery performance data.
- Assist in producing OTIF reports for management review.
- Investigate any discrepancies in data and liaise with other departments to ensure data accuracy.
- Scan, file and store files electronically in accordance with company procedures.
Essential
- Previous experience in a Customer Service or Administrative role.
- Ability to handle Customer complaints professionally and sensitively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise own workload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.
- Knowledge of OTIF reporting and performance metrics.
- Experience within a manufacturing, distribution or logistics environment.
