The Company

Fine Cut Group is a family\-owned SME home to 6 distinct brands. Each brand requires its own unique personality and strategy.

These brands are: Fine Cut, Dragonfly Rally, Attach A Tag, P\&S Engraving, Orbit Print \& Label Giant.

Fine Cut operates under one roof with an eclectic array of state\-of\-the\-art print, laser marking and engraving technology \- all serving our core offering of “industrial graphics”.

The Role

This is an entry level customer facing role, ideal for someone starting their career and looking for career progression.

Day to day, you will be the first point of contact for many customers, handling inbound calls and e\-mails. You will be following up on outstanding quotes, and raising orders on our system for repeat work.

Over time, you will develop a thorough understanding of our materials and processes so that you can begin advising clients and guide them from their initial enquiry through to ordering.

There is a clear path from this role into a senior account manager or sales leadership role for the right person.

You will be based at our Lancing, West Sussex facility.

Your role; including but not limited to:

• Answering inbound calls and e\-mails.


• Follow up on outstanding quotes


• Raise job sheets on our system for repeat and straightforward jobs.


• Develop relationships with regular customers and become their go\-to contact.


• Learn about materials \& production processes so you can assist with their queries independently.


• Work closely with production to manage customer expectations.

• A confident and warm phone manner


• Highly organised, you will have multiple clients and enquiries circulating at all times.


• A sense of urgency, you follow up, you do not wait to be chased.


• A natural curiosity on how things are made – you’ll need to develop an understanding of production techniques to help advise clients.


• Strong written communication


• Comfortable with computers

• Experience in customer facing or sales support role (even part time or retail)


• Any background in manufacturing, print or industrial products


• Familiarity with order management or CRM systems.

We expect this role to grow. Once comfortable with the core responsibilities you will begin quoting and then handling more complex accounts independently.

The long term path leads to Key Account Manager or Sales Manager for the right candidate. We will support you every step of the way.
