The Role
As Cronies Restaurant \& Bar Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our hospitality operations, ensuring seamless service, staff development, and a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Scotland. You will oversee the day\-to\-day running of both the restaurant and bar, curating exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership – Manage the bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all dining periods.
- Guest Experience – Foster a welcoming atmosphere with high\-end yet approachable Scottish cuisine, ensuring consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
- Team Management – Lead, train, and develop front\-of\-house staff, creating a culture of excellence and career growth.
- Stock \& Cost Control – Oversee inventory management, supplier relations, and cost control strategies to maximize profitability.
- Compliance \& Standards – Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are met, maintaining a clean and compliant environment.
- Innovative Offerings – Work alongside the Food \& Beverage Manager to introduce seasonal menus, curated drink selections, and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Revenue \& Growth – Monitor sales performance, contribute to marketing and promotions, and drive engagement through local partnerships and events.
- Proven experience in restaurant and bar management, ideally within hospitality or fine dining settings.
- A passion for Scottish cuisine and hospitality, with a deep appreciation for guest engagement and service excellence.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, fostering a supportive and driven team culture.
- Knowledge of stock management, licensing laws, and financial controls.
- Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced, high\-energy environment.
