Credit Controller

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a fashion retailer and corporate clothing specialist based in Wakefield.

Established in 1940, Double TWO Shirts Ltd remains a family\-owned business and sells via various online channels, bricks and mortar stores and through a wholesale division as well as offering corporate wear through the career and workwear division.

As Credit controller you will be responsible for:

· Checking customers' credit ratings with credit agencies

· Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments

· Negotiating repayment plans

· Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment

· Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices

· Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems

· Providing account information to internal departments

· Providing Information to Invoice Finance Providers

· Uploading invoices from EPOS and other systems.

· Raise miscellaneous invoices \& credits.

· Approving Sales Orders.

The successful applicant will be required to hit the ground running and will need to have:

· Proven work experience as a Credit Controller or similar role

· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations

· Data entry skills, along with an aptitude for numbers

· Proficiency in MS Office

· Oracle NetSuite experience a distinct advantage

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential

· The ability to work in a team as well as individually

· Excellent written and verbal skills
