Creative Operations Manager
Dean Group is a boutique independent hospitality company based in Ireland. Our hotels are shaped by personality, not playbooks. Each property is embedded in its neighbourhood \- a platform for the artists, musicians, chefs and communities that make a city worth visiting.
We've stayed independent deliberately. In a world where hotel brands are consolidating into corporate conglomerates, Dean Group is proof that a different kind of hospitality company is possible \- one with real editorial character, genuine cultural investment, and a commitment to supporting emerging talent across art, music and F\&B.
The Role
Creative Operations Manager is a new role at Dean Group, created to bring rigour and rhythm to a growing creative function.
Our creative team is hybrid, multi\-disciplinary and super talented. What we need now is someone who can hold the whole operation together, this includes managing timelines, briefs, workflows and external partners without losing a single thread of brand quality. This person is not a gatekeeper. They are an enabler.
The Creative Operations Manager sits at the intersection of creativity and infrastructure. They understand instinctively what is on\-brand and can articulate clearly why something isn't. They run a tight ship without making it feel like one.
What You'll Do
Lead the Creative Project Cycle
- Own end\-to\-end project management for a fully remote creative team \- briefs, timelines, milestones, sign\-offs.
- Keep every deliverable on track and every stakeholder in the loop, without resorting to death\-by\-meeting.
- Build and maintain a clear project pipeline so nothing falls through the cracks during busy programming periods.
- Document and improve the workflows that take creative work from idea to published output.
- Identify, implement and champion tools that make the team faster and more consistent \- DAM platforms, briefing templates, feedback processes.
- Reduce friction everywhere. Protect creative time.
- Develop a sharp eye for what is and isn't Dean Group and the brands within Dean Group \- and give clear, actionable feedback when something misses.
- Champion the brand guidelines internally, ensuring consistency across all creative outputs without flattening the work.
- Translate brand strategy into practical direction for creative teams and external partners.
- Act as the central bridge between creative, marketing, programming, F\&B and external partners.
- Ensure briefs are genuinely clear before work begins, and feedback is structured and purposeful when it comes back
- Build strong working relationships with freelancers and vendors \- holding them to Dean Group's brand standards without micromanaging.
- Allocate budgets, people and tools across projects based on priority and deadline.
- Track turnaround times, budget adherence and team satisfaction \- and use that data to keep improving.
- Report on creative output in a way that makes sense to leadership without stripping out the nuance.
*We are looking for someone who genuinely lives in culture and has the operational instincts to keep a creative team running at its best.*
- Proven experience in creative operations, project management or a senior production role \- ideally within a hospitality, media, cultural or agency environment.
- An understanding of creative process that goes beyond project management software. You know what good looks like, and you know how to say so.
- Strong written and verbal communication \- precise, warm and direct. You give clear briefs and clear feedback.
- The organisational stamina to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing detail or momentum.
- Analytical enough to track performance, iterate processes and identify where things are slowing down.
- Culturally fluent. You know your Apartamento from your Conde Nast. You'd walk into The Dean and immediately understand it.
- Comfortable working with remote teams across different time zones and disciplines \- building trust through structure, not presence.
- Familiarity with digital asset management platforms and workflow tools (Notion, Asana, Monday or similar.)
- Experience working with or commissioning photographers, videographers, designers and copywriters.
- An appreciation for the independent hospitality or arts sector \- you understand why staying boutique matters.
- Irish or European market knowledge is a plus, though not a prerequisite.
A role with real creative weight.
- A front\-row seat at one of Ireland's most culturally ambitious hospitality groups and the infrastructure role to help it reach its potential.
