CRE8 is a fast\-growing creative industry academy delivering post\-16 education through real\-world creative projects and industry partnerships. We specialise in creative media, digital content creation, marketing, photography, videography, graphic design, social media, and professional progression opportunities.

Working with industry partners including sports clubs, businesses, charities, and creative organisations, our learners gain hands\-on experience that prepares them for careers within the creative industries.

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and organised individual to join our team as a Creative Media \& Digital Marketing Assistant \& Tutor.

The Role

This is a varied and exciting role combining creative content production, digital marketing, and learner support.

You will help create engaging content for CRE8’s social media platforms, marketing campaigns, websites, and promotional materials whilst also supporting tutors in the delivery of lessons and practical creative media projects.

This role would suit someone with experience in content creation, social media marketing, graphic design, photography, videography, or digital media who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of creatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Media \& Marketing

  • Create engaging content for CRE8 social media platforms.

  • Plan and schedule social media campaigns.

  • Design promotional graphics, posters, advertisements, and marketing materials.

  • Capture and edit photography and video content.

  • Create short\-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

  • Support the development of CRE8’s brand identity and online presence.

  • Assist with website content updates.

  • Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Attend events, open evenings, industry visits, and student activities to capture content.
Tutor Support \& Student Development
  • Support tutors during lessons and practical workshops.

  • Assist learners with creative media projects.

  • Provide technical support with creative software and equipment.

  • Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources.

  • Support student engagement, attendance, and progression.

  • Assist with project feedback and portfolio development.

  • Promote professional working practices and industry standards.

  • Support learners during external projects, live briefs, and industry activities.
Administrative Support
  • Assist with organising events, workshops, and marketing activities.

  • Maintain digital assets and media libraries.

  • Support recruitment events and student enrolment activities.

  • Contribute to internal communications and promotional campaigns.
Skills \& ExperienceEssential
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.

  • Experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Photography and videography skills.

  • Basic video editing skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Enthusiastic, creative, and proactive approach.

  • Passion for supporting young people and developing creative talent.
Desirable
  • Teaching, coaching, mentoring, or youth work experience.

  • Experience within education or training.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.

  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar software.

  • Understanding of content analytics and social media performance.

  • Experience managing social media accounts professionally.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Ideal Candidate

Pay: £10,000\.00\-£18,000\.00 per year
