Corporate Sales & Business Development Executive – Events
Help us turn impressive spaces into lasting business relationships.
Falcon Events transforms venues with draping, lighting and creative installations. From weddings and corporate events to large venue transformations, we deliver work across the South East and London.
We’re a small, ambitious, hands\-on company doing increasingly big projects. You’ll work directly with the owner, have room to put your ideas into practice and see the results of your work. We’re still developing our systems as we grow, so this will suit someone resourceful who enjoys taking initiative and helping shape how things are done.
We’re looking for someone confident, proactive and commercially minded to grow our corporate client base—with a particular focus on hotel groups, holiday parks, event venues and agencies.
There’s plenty to show prospective clients. We need someone who will start the conversations, get us in front of the right people and turn opportunities into bookings and repeat business.
What you’ll do
- Find and approach potential corporate clients by phone, email and in person.
- Build relationships with venue managers, event teams and group buyers.
- Arrange meetings and site visits, understand clients’ needs and help prepare proposals.
- Follow up enquiries and quotations, keeping opportunities moving.
- Develop individual bookings into repeat business and opportunities across multiple venues.
- Keep clear records of contacts, conversations and next steps.
- Work with the owner and installation team to make sure what we propose can be delivered well.
You may have experience in sales, hotels, venues, hospitality, events or another business where winning customers and building relationships matters.
You’ll need to be comfortable picking up the phone, introducing yourself and following up. You should be organised, personable and able to take responsibility without waiting for a daily list of instructions.
We’re interested in what you’ve achieved and how you approach people—not just your previous job title. Experience generating new business is particularly welcome.
A full driving licence and willingness to travel to client meetings and venues are required.
A varied role with a clear focus
Your main responsibility will be developing business. You’ll also visit venues and occasionally help on installations to understand our products and how we work. This suits someone who enjoys getting out, meeting people and seeing projects take shape.
You don’t need to arrive knowing how to drape a ballroom. We’ll teach you about our services, and the owner will support technical quotations and larger pitches.
What we offer
- £28,500 basic salary plus commission.
- Direct involvement in growing an established, hands\-on events business.
- Varied projects and the opportunity to build your own portfolio of clients.
- Scope for greater responsibility and progression as you deliver results.
