About Conveyo
Conveyo is on a mission to make home buying and selling faster, clearer, and less stressful. We connect buyers, sellers, estate agents, and solicitors through a single, transparent platform, replacing the usual conveyancing chaos with real visibility and proactive communication.
The Role
We're looking for a Conveyancing Operations Manager to own the client experience through one of the most stressful transactions in most people's lives: buying or selling a home. This isn't a generic support role \- conveyancing is a legal process, and our customers need someone who can speak that language, understand where a transaction genuinely stands, and explain it back to them with confidence and clarity.
You'll sit at the centre of the customer journey, liaising with solicitors, estate agents, and our internal team to keep transactions moving, unblock issues, and make sure our customers always know what's happening and why.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Success \& Relationships: managing customer relationships and providing clear, professional updates throughout the transaction
- Legal Forms \& Documentation: supporting customers with required legal and property forms, including TA6, TA7, and TA10 and other transaction documentation, ensuring requirements are understood and completed correctly
- Case \& Transaction Management: managing multiple live cases, monitoring progress, searches, enquiries, documents, payments, and solicitor actions
- Completion Finance: monitoring outstanding payments and coordinating financial requirements to help ensure transactions are ready for completion
- Solicitor \& Estate Agent Liaison: working closely with solicitors and estate agents to chase outstanding matters, coordinate information, and keep transactions progressing
- Problem Solving: identifying delays, taking ownership of issues, and working with relevant parties to find solutions
- Conveyo Portal Management: monitoring tasks, transaction milestones, and outstanding requirements while supporting customers and professional partners with the platform
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their conveyancing journey, from instruction through to completion
- Interpret legal and process updates from solicitors and translate them into clear, reassuring communication for customers
- Proactively identify where a transaction is stalling or at risk, and intervene to keep things on track
- Manage a caseload of live transactions, keeping accurate, up\-to\-date records of status and next steps
- Build relationships with customers, estate agent partners, and solicitor firms
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with a confident, friendly, and professional phone manner
- Escalate and help resolve issues between customers, solicitors, and the completions team
- Contribute to improving our customer communication processes, tone of voice, and support materials
- *Desirable*: A law degree (or equivalent legal background) \- you don't need to have practised, but you need to be comfortable with legal process and terminology
- A basic working understanding of conveyancing / home\-buying and selling (HS)
- A confident, warm, and professional telephone manner
- A proactive mindset \- you spot problems before they become complaints
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal processes for a non\-expert audience
- Strong organisational skills and comfort managing multiple live cases at once
- A genuine interest in improving the home\-moving experience for everyday people
You'll be joining a small, fast\-moving team at a business genuinely trying to fix a broken industry with real ownership over how customers experience one of the biggest transactions of their lives.
Pay: £25,420\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
