You will be responsible for developing robust and compliant control systems, producing detailed technical documentation, managing software quality and change control, and supporting installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting activities.

The position is suited to a self\-motivated and detail\-focused engineer who is comfortable working independently, managing technical projects and supporting customers in regulated environments.

  • Manage the quality system for all control programs produced, including change control, testing documentation and software records.

  • Review customer User Requirement Specifications and scope the functional, hardware and licence requirements needed for each project.

  • Support accurate costing of software, hardware, licences and functional requirements.

  • Troubleshoot existing control systems, both remotely and on customer sites.

  • Support installation, commissioning, servicing and customer handover activities.

  • Work with internal engineering, production, service and project teams to ensure systems are delivered accurately and on time.

  • Ensure control systems are designed with quality, safety, usability, compliance and long\-term supportability in mind.

  • Support continuous improvement and standardisation of Terriva’s control systems and documentation.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Expert knowledge of TIA Portal, STEP 7 and WinCC.

  • Experience working with Siemens S7\-1200 control systems.

  • Experience with Unitronics hardware platforms would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • An excellent problem solver.

  • A self\-starter who is confident working independently on programming projects.

  • Capable of working both alone and as part of a wider team.

  • Able to provide accurate project timings and work within project plans and deadlines.
