Lead Facilities Operations for a Global Industry Leader

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services across a prestigious client contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader with a technical engineering background who thrives in a fast\-paced environment, drives service excellence, and builds high\-performing teams.

You'll be responsible for managing engineering operations, client relationships, compliance, financial performance, and continuous improvement across a critical facilities portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead and develop a team of engineering professionals, ensuring a safe, compliant, and high\-performing operation.

✅ Manage day\-to\-day delivery of hard FM services, including mechanical, electrical and building systems.

✅ Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and providing regular operational updates.

✅ Drive contract performance, ensuring service levels, KPIs, and statutory compliance requirements are achieved.

✅ Manage contract finances, supporting revenue growth, cost control, profitability and budget performance.

✅ Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiency and service enhancement.

Skills \& Experience Required

✔️ Proven experience managing facilities, engineering or building services contracts.

✔️ Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and manage teams.

✔️ Technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City \& Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent).

✔️ Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

✔️ Sound knowledge of Health \& Safety legislation and compliance requirements (NEBOSH/IOSH desirable).

✔️ Strong organisational, communication and problem\-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
