The Role

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Consultant to join our Immigration team, delivering high\-quality immigration advisory services to corporate and private clients. The successful candidate will provide technically accurate, commercially focused immigration advice while maintaining exceptional client service standards.

This role requires a strong understanding of UK immigration legislation, policies, and processes, combined with the ability to manage complex immigration cases and support clients through international mobility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technically accurate and commercially sound immigration advice to clients across a range of immigration matters.

  • Lead and manage end\-to\-end visa application processes, including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Sponsor Licence, Settlement, and other UK immigration routes.

  • Develop and implement effective immigration case strategies to support international assignments and relocation requirements.

  • Provide day\-to\-day guidance, mentoring, and quality review support to Immigration Analysts and junior team members.

  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of UK Immigration Rules, Home Office policies, and relevant legislation, ensuring advice remains current and compliant.

  • Monitor and communicate legislative developments, policy changes, and emerging immigration trends that may impact clients.

  • Liaise directly with the UK Home Office and other relevant immigration authorities regarding applications, compliance matters, and case escalations.

  • Prepare detailed strategic, compliance, and risk management advice for multinational organisations and private clients.

  • Support clients with sponsor licence compliance, right\-to\-work requirements, and broader global mobility considerations.

  • Participate in knowledge\-sharing initiatives, training sessions, thought leadership activities, business development opportunities, and client projects.

  • Utilise Deloitte systems effectively for case management, reporting, data analysis, billing, document management, and administrative activities.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service delivery.

  • Collaborate effectively within diverse and inclusive teams while contributing positively to team objectives and culture.
Required Skills \& Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience working as an Immigration Consultant, Immigration Advisor, or Immigration Specialist.

  • Strong working knowledge of UK Immigration Rules and Home Office processes.

  • Experience managing a wide range of visa and immigration applications.

  • Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members.

  • Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable
  • Experience within a professional services, legal, consulting, or global mobility environment.

  • Knowledge of international immigration and global mobility programmes.

  • Experience supporting multinational corporate clients.

  • Familiarity with sponsor licence compliance and audit requirements.
