Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant backend services, primarily using Go.

  • Build and evolve APIs, backend applications, and SaaS platforms that deliver lasting value.

  • Contribute to the architecture and implementation of distributed systems and modern cloud-based solutions.

  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to build and operate reliable services.

  • Apply modern infrastructure and deployment practices, including Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.

  • Develop robust testing strategies across the software lifecycle, including TDD, integration testing, and performance optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, stakeholders, and client teams to translate business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.

  • Evaluate and adopt AI tools and emerging technologies where they can meaningfully improve engineering productivity and outcomes.

  • Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture built around continuous improvement, inclusion, transparency, and shared success.

Requirements


  • Strong professional experience in backend software engineering, with Go/Golang as a primary or preferred programming language.

  • Hands-on experience designing and building APIs, backend services, and SaaS platforms.

  • Experience working with at least one major cloud environment, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, modern infrastructure, and scalable software architecture.

  • Practical experience with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices.

  • Strong knowledge of software testing strategies, including TDD, throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization is highly valuable.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a pragmatic approach to technical decision-making.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • A proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented approach and a genuine commitment to continuous learning.

  • Comfortable working collaboratively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

  • Willingness to use sound judgment when evaluating AI tools and emerging technologies.

  • Strong commitment to diversity, fairness, inclusion, and ethical ways of working.

  • Ability to operate through a limited company or equivalent business entity (e.g., LLC, LDA, Sp. z o.o., SRL), as this is a B2B contract engagement.
