Content Creation Assistant

Job type: Freelance, ad hoc hours Pay: £20 per hour, plus travel covered

Who we are:

Behind Socials is a London based social media and content creation agency. We work with fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands.

The role:

We are looking for a freelance Content Creation Assistant to join us on photo and video shoots across London and to help us make more of the content our clients love.

On a typical shoot day you will be:

• Capturing photo and video content on your own iPhone or our equipment confidently


• Appearing on camera when required


• Bringing ideas to the table on the day: angles, hooks, transitions, trends that would suit the brand


• Helping the shoot run smoothly, from setting up to keeping an eye on the shot list to making sure we leave with everything we came for


• Supporting with our own social media (e.g. BTS content) and content organisation where needed

Work is offered per shoot or project and paid hourly, with travel covered.

Who we are looking for:

Essential

• Proven experience in content creation.


• A portfolio of your own work. Please include it with your application, we will not consider applications without one.


• You are comfortable presenting, speaking and being the face of content when needed.


• Your own iPhone 17 or iPhone 17 Pro Max. Most of what we shoot is captured on phone, so this matters.


• An understanding of the marketing industry and how content performs, especially for fashion and beauty brands. Experience in other niches is very welcome too.


• Proactive by nature. You take initiative, notice what needs doing and get on with it without being told.


• London based and able to travel to shoots


• Flexible and reliable. Able to take on work at fairly short notice when asked.

Desirable

• Experience working in an agency setting, with an understanding of how briefs, clients and turnaround times work


• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok trends

Please note: this role is for freelancers only. It is not open to anyone running their own agency or offering agency services.

Pay: £20\.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2\.0 per week
