Consulting Line Manager \- Lab Consulting
The Smart Manufacturing division at NNIT has an immediate requirement to add a Line Manager to support the Director of Lab Consulting.
The role of the Line Manger is to manage a team of business consultants located across Europe. The Line Manager will ensure that the business consulting team is capable to deliver on agreed services and agreed customer assignments. The Line Manager is responsible for ensuring all NNIT systems are up\-to\-date in regards of Smart Manufacturing delivery.
The Line Manager will also contribute to pre\-sales activities and to product/service development in co\-operation with the Smart Manufacturing leadership and Advisory team.
The break\-down of activities is planned as follows:
- Up to 60% \- Pre sales activities / consulting
- Up to 40% \- People management of the consulting team
*Team and Line Management:*
- Assisting team members on customer and internal project assignments in line with the NNIT S\&OP process.
- Report on individual consultant and overall team effectiveness (KPI’s).
- Manage the performance appraisal and development process for all team members.
- Coach and train team members with regards of consulting excellence, NNIT procedures, processes, and values.
- Identify development needs and organize necessary training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Arbitrate and resolve conflicts with customers and internal NNIT teams.
- On\-boarding and off\-boarding of team members.
- Support to organize team initiatives.
- Departmental P\&L responsibility.
- Participate in major customer and stakeholder engagements – during both sales and delivery phase.
- Continuously drive business development including development of new services, quality improvements optimizations and delivery models.
- Analyze market trends for business opportunities.
- Ensure proper communication and material is available to the leadership team to enable accurate forecasting.
*Essential requirements:*
- A minimum of a Bachelors level qualification in a relevant engineering, technical or business discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role with a consulting services provider or a consulting focused role within industry or IT vendor side.
- Experience within the life sciences / pharma sector and proven experience or knowledge of project delivery to this sector.
- People management and development experience and strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional organizational and administration skills.
- First class communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders.
- A Masters level qualification in a relevant engineering, technical or business discipline.
- Budgetary management experience.
- Business development and request for proposal (RFP) experience.

Fluency in oral and written English is a must. A second language (Danish, German, Italian, Spanish or French) is desired but not essential.
Travel must be expected, but will be kept to necessary business trips (\<10%).
