Consultant Psychologist

We are seeking an exceptional and innovative Consultant Psychologist to join our Home Treatment Team at an exciting time of investment and service development. Significant new investment in therapies is enabling us to enhance our community crisis offer, ensuring more people can receive high\-quality, evidence\-based support in their own homes, reducing unnecessary hospital admissions and supporting timely discharge from inpatient care.

As Consultant Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the psychological approach across the Home Treatment Team. Working collaboratively with operational, clinical and professional leaders, you will support the development of innovative pathways that improve outcomes for people experiencing mental health crises.

You will provide expert consultation, assessment, formulation and intervention for individuals with highly complex presentations, whilst supporting the development of psychologically informed practice across the wider workforce.

There is an expectations that the Consultant Psychologist will routinely travel to the Home Treatment Team sites in Staines, Frimley, Guilldford and Redhill as part of their role, and will be actively engaged across the 4 teams.

services.

To plan and deliver expert clinical interventions, consultation and training.
