MEDICAL

Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR \- Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded. Non\-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.

Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, part time (24 hours per week) post based in Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

This is a part time (6 PA) post. The post holder would join a team of 4 consultants and 2 Specialist Doctors at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. The post is supported by a full time Specialty Doctor and a Core Trainee.

The MDT also includes input from Psychology, Social Work and Discharge Coordinators. There is also a Physician Associate and a Advance Nurse Practitioner supporting the teams.

The are 2 WTE Consultants in post working in South Edinburgh Inpatients. This post would be in addition to this.
