Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager specialising in refurbishment, fit out or / and new build projects to oversee and coordinate all aspects of site operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong management skills and a background in construction supervision to lead dynamic refurbishment initiatives.

Ideally you will have previous experience working on care homes, residential, education, NHS in fit out and refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day\-to\-day site activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on\-site personnel to ensure efficient operations.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, monitoring progress against milestones.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.

  • Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to communicate project status and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Control project costs by managing resources effectively and avoiding delays or overspending.

  • Oversee quality control procedures to ensure work meets specified standards and contractual requirements.

  • Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders, maintaining accurate records of site activities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in construction management, particularly in refurbishment, fit out and or new build projects.

  • Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising experience on similar sites.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • A thorough understanding of health \& safety regulations within the construction industry.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields are preferred.This position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to lead refurbishment projects with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Pay: £45,045\.24\-£58,000\.00 per year
