Based in Birmingham with hybrid working, this role offers exposure to major projects, NEC contracts and senior stakeholder engagement within a collaborative in-house legal team.

Description
The Construction Contracts Legal Counsel will be: • Providing legal advice on high-value NEC construction and infrastructure contracts
- Supporting procurement, commercial and supply chain teams on major projects work
- Advising on contractual claims, disputes and risk allocation matters
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and funding arrangements
- Managing external legal counsel where required and supporting key stakeholder decision making
The Construction Contracts Legal Counsel should be: • A solicitor or barrister with strong construction and commercial contracts experience
- Experienced advising on NEC contracts within infrastructure, construction or major projects environments
- Experienced working either in-house or in private practice supporting major UK projects
- Comfortable managing complex stakeholder relationships across commercial and procurement teams
- Experienced handling contractual claims, procurement and risk management matters
