Community Learning Disability Nurse

Permanent \| Part Time

An exciting opportunity to join our city\-wide CAMHS Learning Disability and Mental Health Team.

You'll work collaboratively across health, education and social care, using Positive Behaviour Support to provide holistic, person\-centred care. This role offers autonomy, clinical leadership, and the chance to shape service development while managing your own caseload under expert supervision.

RMN / RN (Mental Health) or RLDN / RN (Learning Disabilities) registration

Reporting into the Clinical Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Deliver specialist nursing care for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions.

Act as a clinical resource within the In Reach CAMHS Team.

Provide evidence\-based interventions for moderate to severe mental health issues.

Deliver and support training for staff, parents, and external services.

Participate in regular clinical and management supervision.

Ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory training.

Identify and communicate training needs to support clinical responsibilities.
