About the Role
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll be making a real difference every day. You’ll support people with a variety of needs, including older adults and individuals living with conditions such as Dementia and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
No two days are the same — one moment you might be helping with personal care, the next you could be out in the community supporting someone to attend an appointment or enjoy a social activity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Helping with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting with meals, shopping, and daily tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with medication (after training)
- Helping clients access the community
- Keeping clear, accurate records
- Following care plans and promoting independence
- A kind, caring, and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently
- A full UK driving license and access to a car (preferred)
- Experience is great, but not essential — we’ll train you!
- £12\.71 per hour (with opportunities to grow)
- 40p per mile travel allowance
