At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers – we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world.

If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do
------------------

With us, you can shape how Vodafone Ireland shows up externally – building trust, influencing the conversation, and strengthening our reputation across the market.

You will lead Vodafone Ireland’s integrated external reputation strategy across PR, communications and public affairs, ensuring a clear and consistent narrative across media, policymakers, partners, customers and the wider public.

This role leads proactive storytelling, stakeholder engagement and issue management to continue to strengthen Vodafone’s reputation as a trusted voice on key economic, societal and industry opportunities.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll define and deliver a joined\-up communications, PR and public affairs strategy aligned to business, policy and corporate priorities, translating complex technical, regulatory and commercial information into clear, compelling messaging. You will own the annual reputation plan, bringing together campaigns, policy communications and media engagement into a single, coherent approach.

Working closely with Public Affairs colleagues, you will shape how Vodafone’s policy positions and advocacy priorities are communicated

You’ll support how Vodafone engages with key stakeholders including policymakers, regulators and influencers—through effective briefings, messaging and communications advice.

You will design and deliver proactive PR and communications campaigns that continue to build Vodafone’s profile, working with agencies and partners to deliver earned media, thought leadership and influencer activity. This includes identifying and developing high\-impact “hero stories” that strengthen Vodafone’s reputation across areas such as ESG, innovation, connectivity and wider societal impact.

You’ll retain accountability for national and regional media relationships, telling our story and managing our media relations in close coordination with Public Affairs and senior leadership.

You will oversee the development of high\-quality content across channels, including press releases, speeches, LinkedIn, briefing notes and reports. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on external narrative, stakeholder communications and reputational risk, and you will measure and report on the impact of PR, communications and public affairs activity.

Who you are
---------------

  • Demonstrable experience across Public Relations, Public Affairs or corporate reputation management (media experience alone is not sufficient)

  • Strong understanding of the policy, regulatory or public affairs environment and how communications influence stakeholders

  • Experience delivering proactive PR and communications campaigns

  • Ability to navigate complexity across government, regulators, media and public sentiment, balancing opportunities and risks

  • Strong judgement in managing reputational risk and external stakeholder expectations

  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging external communications

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and providing trusted communications advice
