We are looking for a forward\-thinking, creatively minded Marketing \& Communications Officer to join our UK Fundraising team. This part\-time role centres on digital and content marketing and fundraising campaign planning and execution. The role collaborates with colleagues in the UK, our Outreach team at The School of Hope in Guatemala, Central America and Fundraising colleagues in the USA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research \& identify appropriate fundraising opportunities and work with colleagues across the regions to plan and implement
- Develop and implement EFTC’s digital strategy across web, email and social in collaboration with the Communications Coordinator in Guatemala
- Plan and execute targeted seasonal digital marketing fundraising campaigns
- Create content for web, social, email, reports and events
- Support the UK Foundation Manager with UK event management \- with particular focus on video creation, print design and presentation creation
- Support the USA Director of Fundraising with Campaigns and events
- Work closely with the UK team \& Guatemala Communications Coordinator to develop the monthly e\-updates, website updates and other key videos throughout the year.
- Work collaboratively with UK \& US trustees on communication and engagement projects
- Analysis of all digital marketing campaigns and communications including email response reporting, web and social analytics
- Stewardship strategy and management including videos and presentations for key and adhoc donors, supporter analysis and engagement
- Support the Foundation Manager in the UK and the Sponsor Coordinator in Guatemala with digital communication to student sponsors and promotion of sponsorship opportunities to target audiences
- Design, creation and copywriting of the EFTC Consolidated Annual Report across three regions
- Support the Development \& Fundraising Manager \& Grant Writer with promotional presentations and report writing \- design and content
- PR \- design, idea generation and release writing, media opportunities and liaison
- Act as brand guardian for the organisation
- Liaise with external agencies e.g. event auction producers, digital suppliers
- Participate in occasional fundraising events at external venues
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role.
- To initiate and support Community Fundraising such as local Schools \& UniversitiesKnowledge and Experience
- Experience of developing engaging content which meets target audience needs
- Experience of planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Digital marketing knowledge including latest digital trends and social features.
- An eye for design
- Creative and innovative approach to marketing on limited budgets
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills \- including print and report writing
- Experience with web/email CRM (EFTC uses squarespace and mailchimp)
- An ability to work under tight deadlines
- Self motivated and reliant
- Heightened attention to detail
- Experience with CRM (EFTC uses salesforce)
- Experience with digital fundraising page creation (EFTC uses Raisely)
- Experience with design tools (EFTC uses Canva)
- Experience with Facebook fundraising
- Experience across all social media platforms
- Experience of working for a charity, especially in the area of children and young people
Job Type: Part\-time
Pay: £25,000\.00 per year
Expected hours: 21\.0 per week
