The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial gas systems and associated plant across a range of customer sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances and heating systems.


• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and safely.


• Servicing and commissioning commercial boilers, burners and associated equipment.


• Carrying out gas safety checks and ensuring all work meets current regulations.


• Completing service reports, job sheets and relevant documentation.


• Providing a professional and customer\-focused service at all times.


• Working independently while also supporting the wider engineering team.


• Participating in an on\-call rota where required.

Required Skills

• Commercial Gas qualifications and current Gas Safe registration.


• Proven experience working on commercial heating and gas systems.


• Strong fault\-finding and diagnostic skills.


• A good understanding of current gas safety legislation and industry standards.


• A full UK driving licence.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.


• A professional, reliable and safety\-conscious approach.
