Overview

We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Commercial Manager to oversee commercial activities and support the continued growth of our business. The successful candidate will manage key client and supplier relationships, develop commercial strategies, oversee contracts, and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability. This role requires strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively across different areas of the business.

Duties

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies that support the company’s business objectives, revenue growth, and market expansion.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, business partners, and other key stakeholders.

  • Lead commercial negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners to establish mutually beneficial terms and agreements.

  • Manage commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring that relevant terms, company policies, and legal requirements are properly followed.

  • Monitor budgets, expenditure, and commercial performance to support effective cost management and profitability.

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to coordinate commercial activities and achieve business objectives.

  • Monitor market conditions, industry developments, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and potential commercial risks.

  • Review sales and commercial performance data and provide recommendations to improve business performance.

  • Prepare regular commercial reports, forecasts, and performance updates for senior management.

  • Support the development of new products, services, and commercial initiatives based on market demand and business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial management, business development, sales, or a related role.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship\-management skills, with the ability to develop successful commercial agreements.

  • Good understanding of commercial operations, contract management, budgeting, and cost\-control principles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess information and make commercially sound decisions.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast\-paced business environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
