Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial gas systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations


• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on gas appliances and associated equipment


• Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients’ operations


• Use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools to complete tasks accurately


• Perform basic plumbing and heatingtasks related to system installation and repairs


• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and parts used via online protal


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies


• Assist with the assembly of new systems or components as required

Skills

• Proven experience in plumbing or mechanical maintenance within a commercial environment


• Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to gas systems and associated infrastructure


• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting


• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£52,500\.00 per year
