Job Overview
Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join their friendly team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial and industrial sites. The role holder will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial heating and hot water systems as well as completing reactive works, PPMs, minor repairs and installations. \* Van \& fuel provided, Gloucestershire customer base.
Duties
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
- Service, maintain and repair a range of mechanical equipment including boilers, pumps and space heaters.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to commercial heating and hot water systems.
- Complete minor installations and system alterations ensuring compliance with current regulations and specifications.
- Order spare parts in line with company procedures.
- Identify non\-repairable faults and report findings to the HVAC Supervisor, including recommendations for replacement.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical, HVAC or equivalent.
- Valid ACS Commercial Gas qualifications including: COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A.
- Proven experience working on commercial gas systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault\-finding and diagnostic skills.
- OFTEC Oil qualifications / experience working on commercial oil\-fired heating systems (desirable).
