Technical Commercial Manager

The Concast Precast Group require a Technical Commercial Manager to join their Commercial team. Based from our Dublin office, the candidate must have a proven track record in the negotiation of precast concrete projects. The range of projects include multi\-storey structures for commercial market such as car parks, residential, retail, educational projects etc.

The role entails pricing and negotiating precast concrete projects. The role involves preparing detailed and accurate costings for projects. With the ability to negotiate and deal with clients in the UK and Irish markets.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering sales in precast concrete sector


• A track record in the Irish and the UK construction sectors


• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office packages


• Ideally technical / engineering background


• Ability to read and interpret CAD and similar drawings


• Available to work flexibly to respond to business needs, this will include travel for key meetings

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare costings for client proposals


• Communicate scope, schedule and pricing to potential customers


• Build network of contractors and contacts


• Compile costs to prepare accurate project estimates


• Attend client meetings and discuss / negotiate projects in Ireland and UK


• Must have good time management, to meet tender deadlines


• Ability to work closely and foster good relationships with existing and new Clients

The role will be based with our Commercial team in Dublin, with travel to client meetings in Ireland and the UK.

Pay: From €70,000\.00 per year
