Commercial Cleaning Area Manager
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and results\-driven Area Manager to join our commercial cleaning team.. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced cleaning supervisor or team leader who is ready to take the next step into management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage teams effectively. As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, training and developing commercial cleaners to ensure consistent customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across the North West.
This is not a desk\-based management role. we are looking for someone who is happy to get involved, visit sites regularly, support staff when required and lead by example.
Duties
\- Supervise daily operations within assigned areas, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
\- Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of service.
\- Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations, assess team performance, and provide constructive feedback.
\- Manage scheduling and staffing training of employees to ensure optimal coverage and skill development.
\- Ensure compliance with company policies, health \& safety \& COSHH policies and operational procedures.
\- Assist in planning and completion of ad hoc cleaning projects as required.

\-Must have use of own vehicle
Qualifications
\- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a similar industry.
\- Strong skills in managing teams, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
\- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
\- Strong problem\-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
\- Ability to work flexible hours as required by the needs of the business.
\- A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace.
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£36,000\.00 per year
