You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business and closely with multiple site operations, supporting engineering and production requirements as needed. Flexibility to work across either site may be required to meet operational and business needs.

Your contribution will be key to maintaining a safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing environment, supporting W.Howard Group's commitment to quality, service and continuous improvement.

\. Monitor the condition and performance of conveyor systems, belts, pumps, rollers and associated equipment, taking appropriate action where required.

\. Carry out routine lubrication and servicing of machinery, ensuring appropriate fluid levels and maintenance requirements are maintained.

\. Work in accordance with all company Health \& Safety policies, procedures, safe systems of work and risk assessments at all times.

\. Support compliance with relevant environmental requirements, including the effective operation and maintenance of dust extraction and waste\-handling systems.

\. Carry out appropriate machinery safety checks and maintain accurate and up\-to\-date maintenance and service records.

\. Work closely with Production and other departments to minimise disruption, resolve equipment issues and support the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing site.

\. Provide technical guidance and support to production operatives, including training in routine equipment care and basic maintenance requirements.

\. Liaise with external contractors and specialist service providers where additional technical expertise, repairs or installations are required.

\. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repair histories, inspections and spare parts usage, ensuring relevant information is readily available.

\. Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of planned maintenance schedules, ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales.

\. Be willing to both provide and undertake training as required, supporting the development of skills and technical knowledge across the wider team.
