The Role
Working from our central hub in Newton Abbot, you will be a key part of our service and maintenance division. This is a field\-based role where you will start your day with a fully stocked van, heading out to maintain and repair high\-end commercial kitchen equipment across Devon and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on gas and electrical catering kit.
- Diagnose complex faults on premium brands
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safe and electrical safety standards.
- Provide world\-class customer service to local businesses, from independent cafes to large public facilities.
- Use our digital systems to log jobs and manage parts efficiently.
- Qualified Gas Engineer: Valid COMCAT 1, 3, and 5 (essential).
- Electrical Competency: Experience with 3\-phase and single\-phase electrical catering equipment.
- Local Knowledge: A full UK driving license and familiarity with the South West road network.
- Service Excellence: An engineer who takes pride in a "first\-time fix" and maintains a clean, professional workspace.
