The Role

The job holder has responsibility for the smooth operation of our Cocktail Bar, Function Bar and outdoor Terraces. Reporting to the FB Manager your main duties Include.

• Managing a Permanent Casual team of 6 \+ bar staff


• Completing monthly beverage stocktake and weekly ordering sheet.


• Always ensure personal presentation of staff, both in terms of uniform and personal presentation/hygiene.


• Ensure the bar is opened and closed according to SOP’s.


• Creating and developing seasonal cocktail beverage menus


• Achievement of Mystery Guest AA Standards for the department.


• Lead by example in achieving and implementing hotel key standards.


• Presentation of front and back of house areas – cleanliness/layup to SOP standard.


• Ensure effective induction and training plans of all new starters.


• Train, coach, and mentor the bar team to ensure excellent performance, and motivation of team at all times.


• Ensure the team is briefed daily for any special service requirements, promotions, issues.


• Liaise with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to develop and improve bar service offering to guests and visitors.

Requirements;

• 42 hours per week, various shifts over 5 days including weekends


• Smart appearance and the passion and confidence to lead the team


• Excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service


• Ability to host with a warm and welcoming personality


• Supervisory/management Experience within a quality bar operation ideally within a 4 star/ 5 Star rated Hotel preferred.


• Ability to manage and motivate the team


• Must have your own transport due to semi\-rural location.
