About Just Padel
Just Padel runs padel facilities bringing the fast\-growing sport to players of all levels. Our Blackpool site is a key part of the business, and we're looking for a driven, people\-focused Club Manager to take ownership of it — growing the customer base, strengthening our partnerships, and making sure the site is always running at its best.
The Role
As Club Manager, you'll run the day\-to\-day of the Blackpool site and own its growth. You'll be the face of Just Padel locally — building strong relationships with our sponsors and customers, filling courts during quieter hours, bringing new partners on board, and hosting events that put us on the map. You'll also keep our social media active and make sure the site is consistently up to standard. This is a hands\-on leadership role for someone commercially minded who loves building a community.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our sponsored businesses and with our customers, making sure both feel valued and looked after.
- Maximise off\-peak bookings: Drive bookings during off\-peak hours through targeted offers, promotions, programmes, and outreach to keep the courts busy throughout the day.
- Grow sponsorship and partnerships: Reach out to new sponsors, local businesses, and schools to build partnerships and bring more players through the door.
- Events: Plan and host events at the site — tournaments, social nights, open days, and partner events — to grow the community and the brand.
- Social media: Manage the site's social media presence with engaging content that promotes sessions, events, and offers.
- Business growth: Continuously look for ways to grow the business, increase revenue, and raise the profile of Just Padel Blackpool.
- Site standards: Make sure the Blackpool site is always clean, safe, well\-maintained, and up to standard for customers and partners.
- Previous experience in the leisure industry (sports, fitness, hospitality, or similar).
- A working understanding of padel.
- A commercial, growth\-focused mindset with the drive to maximise bookings and revenue.
- Strong relationship\-building and communication skills with customers and partners alike.
- Confidence reaching out to new sponsors, businesses, and schools.
- Experience organising and hosting events.
- Comfortable managing social media and promoting a brand.
- Well organised, self\-motivated, and able to run a site independently.
- Experience managing a venue, club, or multi\-staff site.
- An existing network of local business or community contacts in the Blackpool area.
- Playing experience or coaching knowledge in padel.
