Role: Cloud Data Engineer

Location: hybrid, Porto, Portugal

Required skills:

• 3\- 5 years building data pipelines on public cloud services (preferably AWS, also Azure/GCP).


• 1\+ years in data solution architecture, design, development, and support.


• Experience with:


• Database architecture, ETL, BI, Big Data, ML, Advanced Analytics.


• Spark ecosystems (Hadoop is a plus).


• Pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions, AWS workflow).


• Lakehouse architectures (Iceberg) and optimizations (Compaction, Z\-Order, etc.).


• Software development and transformation (Python, SQL, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages, Docker, CI/CD, automation).


• AWS services: Lambda, Glue, Crawlers, Step Functions, AWS workflow, dynamo db, AWS batch


• DevOps and Agile principles, infrastructure as code (Cloud Formation and Terraform), artifact/vulnerability management.


• Awareness of cloud foundation services (networking, security, storage, IAM).
