Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) \- Patcham Nursing Home, Brighton, East Sussex

Salary: £25\.25 per hour \+ Enhanced Weekend Rates
Hours: 40 Hours per Week (Approximately 24 clinical hours and 16 supernumerary/office\-based hours)

Lead Exceptional Care in a Specialist Nursing Environment

Patcham Nursing Home is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse to join our dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident clinical leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding person\-centred care, supporting staff development and driving high clinical standards. Working closely with the Home Manager and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, effective and compassionate care every day.

Key Responsibilities

As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will:

  • Provide day\-to\-day clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams

  • Lead by example, promoting excellence in person\-centred care

  • Oversee medication management, audits and clinical governance processes

  • Support the development and review of care plans and risk assessments

  • Monitor and maintain high clinical standards throughout the home

  • Lead shifts and support effective staffing and resource allocation

  • Mentor, supervise and develop nursing and care staff

  • Promote best practice in wound care, PEG feeding, catheter care and complex clinical interventions

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, CQC regulations and company policies

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development
About You

We're looking for a nurse who combines strong clinical skills with a supportive leadership style.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN or RNLD)

  • Active NMC registration with no restrictions

  • Previous experience in a senior nurse, deputy or clinical lead role

  • Strong knowledge of medication management and clinical governance

  • Experience developing and reviewing care plans

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Sound understanding of safeguarding, CQC regulations and best practice standards

  • Ability to support, motivate and develop team members
Desirable
  • Experience within complex care, neurological care, rehabilitation or acute care settings

  • Experience leading clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
