Duties

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to healthcare regulations

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents across assisted living, senior care, hospice, and home care settings

  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, social workers, and laboratory personnel to optimize patient outcomes

  • Oversee medication administration, ensuring safety protocols are followed and documentation is accurate

  • Manage case management activities for complex cases involving dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or individuals with disabilities

  • Conduct regular assessments of patient health status and update care strategies accordingly

  • Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff on topics such as anatomy knowledge, laboratory procedures, medical imaging interpretation, and ICU protocols
Skills
  • Extensive assisted living experience with a strong understanding of senior and dementia care practices

  • Background in nursing home operations with supervisory or team management responsibilities

  • Knowledge of hospice care principles and managing end\-of\-life support services

  • Familiarity with managing patients with complex needs

  • Strong case management skills for coordinating complex treatment plans across multiple disciplines

  • Expertise in medication administration

  • Excellent leadership abilities with supervising experience in healthcare settings
