As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and client\-focused Client Relationship Manager to join our expanding team.
The Role
The Client Relationship Manager will play a key role in developing and maintaining long\-term relationships with existing and prospective clients. The successful candidate will act as a trusted point of contact, helping clients understand our investment solutions while ensuring a high standard of service throughout the client journey.
Working closely with the management, trading, and compliance teams, the role requires strong relationship management, commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and ongoing account support.
- Introduce clients to the firm's quantitative trading strategies, investment products, and portfolio solutions.
- Understand clients' financial objectives, investment preferences, and risk profiles to facilitate appropriate service recommendations.
- Support the client onboarding process, including collection of documentation and coordination with compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular client reviews and maintain accurate client records.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate new business referrals.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, investment proposals, and business development materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient delivery of services and a positive client experience.
- Monitor market developments and maintain a broad understanding of financial products and investment trends.
- Support management in developing strategic partnerships and business growth initiatives.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with FCA regulations, internal policies, and compliance procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional financial qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in client relationship management, business development, account management, wealth management, financial services, investment advisory, banking, corporate services, or a related field.
- Experience managing high\-net\-worth individuals (HNWIs), corporate clients, or business stakeholders is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining long\-term client relationships.
- Experience in financial services, investment management, trading, private banking, or corporate relationship management would be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship\-building skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify business development opportunities.
- Strong organisational and time\-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Strong problem\-solving and client service orientation.
- Ability to explain financial products and investment concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
- Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin) are essential.
- Additional language skills are highly desirable due to our international client base.
