The Opportunity
We are seeking a Client Development Lead to support the continued growth of the practice by developing relationships with prospective clients, managing the client onboarding process, and helping maintain exceptional client service standards.
This role combines business development, relationship management, and client engagement within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospective clients
- Manage enquiries from prospective clients.
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand client requirements.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition into the practice.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records using the firm's CRM and practice management systems.
- Work closely with partners to ensure an excellent client experience.
- Support networking, referral, and business development activities.
Essential
- Experience in client relationship management, business development, account management, or customer success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Professional and confident approach when dealing with clients.
- Ability to build trust and long\-term relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience within an accountancy, legal, financial services, or professional services firm.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Understanding of accounting, tax, bookkeeping, or advisory services.
