Cleaning Area Manager

Ridge Crest Cleaning Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Area Manager to look after a number of school cleaning contracts.

The role will involve travelling between schools, supporting cleaning teams and making sure high cleaning standards are maintained at all times.

Main Duties

• Visit schools regularly and check cleaning standards.


• Manage and support cleaning supervisors and cleaners.


• Make sure all sites are fully staffed and arrange cover when needed.


• Recruit new cleaners when required.


• Deal with any cleaning or staffing issues.


• Communicate with schools and maintain good relationships with clients.


• Carry out regular cleaning audits.


• Make sure staff follow Health \& Safety and company procedures.


• Order and manage cleaning products and equipment.


• Organise and oversee school holiday deep cleans.


• Complete basic reports and paperwork.

• Previous cleaning management or supervisory experience.


• School cleaning experience would be an advantage.


• Good communication and people management skills.


• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.


• Good attention to detail and high cleaning standards.


• Flexible approach to working hours.


• Full UK driving licence is essential.
