Reports to: Site Manager

Hours: Part time, 10 hours per week

2 positions available with working hours of 6\.00am –8\.00am Monday to Friday or

3\.30pm – 5\.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £24,796\.00 FTE (actual salary £6,701\.62 based on 10 hours per week)

Main Purpose of the Job:
============================

To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all pupils, staff, and visitors at St Margaret's CE Primary School.

Key Responsibilities:
=========================

• Clean and sanitise designated areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas


• Perform daily cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying waste bins


• Ensure all cleaning materials and supplies are stored safely and used efficiently


• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Site Manager


• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Person Specification Qualifications and Training:

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Experience:
===============

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable but not essential

Skills and Knowledge:
=========================

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively


• Knowledge of health and safety practices related to cleaning

Personal Qualities:
=======================

• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness


• Reliable and punctual


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
