Children's Social Care Assistant
Permanent, Part Time \- 22\.5hrs per week
We are looking to recruit a part time Children’s Social Care assistant within Bristol East Central Area Office in St Pauls.
This role offers candidates with an interest in working with children and families the opportunity to join a small team of Social Workers and support workers who deliver services to vulnerable children. For those considering a career in children’s social care this is an exciting first step.
You will need strong organisation and administrative skills, a capacity to work under pressure, and a desire to be part of a small team who deliver services to vulnerable families receiving statutory services.
Good communication skills and an ability to use initiative to support the work of the team, are essential qualities. Key skills necessary are being able to use spreadsheets, upload performance information onto a database, administer basic finance process, and take minutes at meetings.
The role can include some direct work with children and their families.
