We provide extensive support, training and access to qualifications to help you grow and develop in your career. You will receive a salary of between £28,200 and £33,000 per annum. Once you have completed your qualifications you will receive a pay rise and have the opportunity to become a senior care worker.
Senior qualified staff members have a great career path into management if desired including a full development plan that includes all the training and support for a fulfilling career.
You will be required to work shifts; this could be either 12 hour day shifts with 3 days on and 3 days off, or 2 days on, 3\-4 days off including sleeping in the home between shifts. The age of the children in our home ranges from 8\-17\. In addition to the competitive salary, you will get a number of benefits.
We provide comprehensive training for all new staff and as an unqualified staff member you will be required to complete an appropriate level 3 diploma within your first two years of employment or if you are already qualified and wish to move to the next stage then we provide the necessary training and qualifications to become the next managers
All applicants must be:
- 21 years or older (to meet OFSTED regulations)
- have a full UK driving licence and have a car available for work purposes with business use insurance
- You will be required to complete an application form as part of our commitment to Safer Recruitment
- In addition, successful applicants will be required to hold an enhanced DBS check
