Cherish Children's Care is looking for Children’s Residential Support Worker's to join our dedicated team at our children's homes in Preston. You’ll play a vital role in supporting children and young people who may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or family breakdown, helping them to feel safe, valued, and empowered.
About the Role
As a Children’s Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people aged 8 and 18 years.
- Supporting with daily routines, including meals, education, appointments, and leisure activities.
- Helping to develop care plans tailored to each young person’s individual needs.
- Encouraging independence, life skills, and positive relationships.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child in your care.
- Maintaining accurate records and working closely with families, social workers, and other professionals.
