Join Our Children’s Team at Dougie Mac

Are you passionate about working with children and families? Do you want to make a meaningful difference every day? We’re looking for kind, motivated and resilient individuals to join our warm, Nurse\-led Children’s Service at Dougie Mac.

In this unique role, you’ll provide compassionate care and emotional support to children and young people with complex or life\-limiting conditions. Every day is different – from playtime and creative activities to supporting health needs and building precious memories with families in a home\-from\-home environment.

What you'll do:

• Support children and families in line with individual care plans


• Work closely with registered nurses to deliver high\-quality, person\-centred care


• Use creativity and play to engage children in meaningful experiences


• Communicate sensitively with families, colleagues and professionals


• Be part of a supportive team that puts children at the heart of everything

✅ Experience working with children and families

✅ NVQ Level 2 in care (or equivalent)

✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

✅ A calm, positive and compassionate approach

✅ Flexibility to work shifts across a 24\-hour service

✅ A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Desirable)

Salary: £24,852\.66 FTE per annum \+ anti social pay

Hours: 22\.5, 30 \& 37\.5 hour a week contracts available

You will work flexibly over a 7 day period; this will include early, late \& night shifts as we operate a 24/7 service. We are recruiting both part and full time positions.
