Chick-fil-A Liverpool - Back of House General Manager
Who we are
At Chick‑fil‑A Liverpool, we believe every person has the potential to make a meaningful impact and positively shape the lives of others. Our goal is to create an environment that inspires, challenges, supports and develops every one of our team members in reaching their highest potential — both personally and professionally.
We're not just about advertising and offering jobs. We are very selective in finding the right people for our restaurant teams because we want to help build careers and develop servant leaders who truly make a difference.
We hire for potential, not perfection.
As proud carriers of nearly 60 years of Chick‑fil‑A's legacy — built on exceptional food and genuine hospitality — we hold ourselves to a standard that goes beyond our food. Every day gives us an opportunity to honour that tradition and create moments that matter. At the heart of everything we do is a simple but powerful ambition: To Be The World’s Most Caring Company — for our team, our Guests, and our community.
We believe in going above and beyond for each other and our Guests. If you want to grow in excellence, lead with purpose, and be part of a team that enjoys intentionally impacting lives, you belong here.
Here’s what the role involves
The Back of House General Manager reports directly to our restaurant Owner/Operator. Their role drives the full kitchen operation, championing food quality, food safety, rapid, reliable and accurate service, strong team performance, and the growth of future leaders.
They set the standards and build strong systems that allow the kitchen to operate with speed, accuracy, and consistency. They will inspire their team with clear, ambitious goals and equip them with the plans, tools, skills, and confidence needed to achieve them. They never settle — constantly looking for ways to raise the bar, sharpen the team, and make today's performance better than yesterday’s. They will continually review systems and processes to ensure alignment with Chick\-fil\-A brand standards and to fully optimise our LEAN operating model. Ultimately, everything they do ensures our guests receive exceptional food, served with care, consistency, and genuine hospitality — and that standard only ever moves in one direction.
They understand that a team's success is a direct reflection of the leader who built it.
Day to day, here’s what to expect:
- Provide leadership, management, and meaningful development to our full Back of House Team — helping them grow while ensuring safe, efficient operations and exceptional food quality.
- Serve as our Food Safety Champion by ensuring full compliance with all food safety standards and Chick‑fil‑A policies, taking prompt action when issues arise, and ensuring a safe kitchen with equipment that is consistently maintained and cared for.
- Help move our restaurant forward and keep us progressing toward our vision of becoming the World’s Most Caring Company.
- Own the quality of our food—how it’s prepped, cooked, and presented—so it always meets Chick‑fil‑A’s Grade A standards.
- Lead LEAN initiatives within the kitchen by monitoring processes, addressing inefficiencies promptly, and incorporating team feedback to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Plan our kitchen recruitment initiatives, bringing in new Team Members and building strong induction plans that set them up for long\-term success.
- Manage stock, ordering, and storage to keep the kitchen well‑supplied while reducing waste and controlling food costs.
- Make sure every meal we serve is something we're proud of — upholding quality checks that keep taste, presentation, and consistency at the heart of everything we do.
