An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced RMN to become a part of the ward management nurse team in our Adult Acute Admissions ward with in General Adult Services.

Ward 2 is a 22 bedded mixed sex ward with flexible capacity to surge to 24 beds if required to meet excess demand. Ward 2 has an energetic and forward looking MDT and ward management team where you will be working closely with a second Charge Nurse colleague reporting to the ward manager (Senior Charge Nurse) with support from the Lead Nurse. Applications for this post are invited from experienced RMN’s who will share the NHS values, be committed to providing a high standard of person centred clinical care as well as developing your skills in leading and managing with and support of the Senior Charge Nurse.

You will be confident in dealing with a wide range of clinical situations and supporting team members and associated professionals to provide the best care to service users and optimise team work within the ward.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate leadership skills with significant experience of working within adult mental health in patient services. The successful applicant will be self motivated and committed to person centred care, professional development and quality improvement. The applicant will be expected to be educated to degree level or equivalent level of skill gained through experience. You will receive a comprehensive induction package and supportive educational development. We are committed to supporting learners, delivery of clinical supervision and personal development.
