JOB PURPOSE

On the basis of the activities assigned by his/her superiors, the transit and customs officer ensures that transport, routing and dispatch operations are carried out correctly, in order to guarantee commercial profitability and customer satisfaction, in compliance with transport and/or customs regulations.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES Transport \- Coordinate carriers to optimize and consolidate deliveries to internal or customer sites \- Monitor the shipment of equipment (sea, air, etc.), in collaboration with the manufacturer(s) \- Organize equipment shipments in collaboration with logistics teams \- Transmit transport information (delivery instructions, customs status, deadlines, etc.) to internal stakeholders and alert, if necessary, to changes in delivery conditions (deadlines, etc.) \- Enter equipment stock entries into business tools \- Process supplier invoices (checks, accounting entries, etc.) within its scope \- Contribute to the handling of transport disputes, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (legal teams, etc.) \- Update activity monitoring indicators (service rates, etc.) as required Customs \- Complete customs declarations (import and export) with forwarding agents \- Preparing declarations of trade in goods and European service declarations \- Set up and monitor customs authorizations (bonded warehouse, AEO, etc.) \- Transmitting the status of bonded assets to customs agencies \- Contribute to the success of customs audits and, where necessary, to the implementation of corrective actions \- Advising and supporting internal and external stakeholders in customs matters (procedures, regulations, authorizations, etc.) \- Maintain a regulatory watch on your business (standards, regulations, etc.) RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION \- Guaranteeing the conformity and quality of transport operations \- Guaranteeing the processing of customs operations \- Be a key contact for internal and external stakeholders \- Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S) 2 years' higher education in logistics or international trade and/or 2 years' significant experience preferred SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S) Technical skill(s) \- General knowledge of logistics (transport, customs, inventory management, etc.) \- General knowledge of IT tools and information systems \- Intermediate level in English (B1\) Behavioral skill(s) \- Rigor \- Organizational skills \- Reactivity \- Interpersonal skills \- Adaptability
