Hourly Rate: £14\.74 ph/ £30,659\.20 pa
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full\-time, 40 hours per week
Work Pattern: This role operates on a rotating shift pattern
· Week 1: 7:00am – 3:00pm
· Week 2: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Shifts alternate weekly on a two\-week rotation.
\*As September is our busiest period, you must be available to work 6 days a week including the weekends (psst.. extra funds to go towards your Christmas shopping!)\*
Building: Study Inn – Triumph House, 3 Triumph Rd, Lenton, Nottingham NG7 2GA – 273 rooms consisting of 56 studios and 217 shared apartments with 27 shared cluster kitchens.
JOB ROLE:
We’re looking for a Centre Manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of the centre whilst managing a team of housekeepers, maintenance, and night concierges to deliver the best customer service and student satisfaction. You will have a real passion for delivering team training as well as maintaining extremely high standards.

- Managing a team including directly reporting assistant manager, housekeepers, maintenance assistants and night concierge team to service and maintain our accommodation
- Preparing and delivering team meetings
- Carrying out room checks to ensure our accommodation is to an exceptional standard
- Have regard for student welfare and if necessary, liaise with the appropriate welfare professionals
- Troubleshooting problems and emergency situations as they arise
- You will be an excellent communicator and will maintain strong working relationships with managers, colleagues, and customers.
- Ensure customer service levels always excel in your Centre.
- Manage the collection of rent and ensure your Centre’s rent payments are chased as required and payments are made in time according to the rent schedule.
- Supporting the management \& compliance of the centre in accordance with ANUK National Code of standards
- Be responsible for the management of Health \& Safety within your centre and your team, students, and visitors
- Experience of a manager or assistant manager role within an accommodation background, ideally hotels, rooms division manager, front office manager or head housekeeper
- Excellent customer service skills both face\-to\-face, telephone \& email
- Proven IT skills knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and clear communication skills
- Ability to multi\-task and deal with customer and team requests
- Ability to manage teams of people
- Organised and process driven
- All candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK to be considered
- Experience within student accommodation or large residential buildings.
- Knowledge of health \& safety procedures within hospitality or accommodation services.
- Reliable and professional.
- Hands\-on and proactive approach to work.
- High attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Pay: £14\.74 per hour
