Central Registration Administrator

The Mater Private Network is seeking to recruit a full time permanent Administrator to join our busy multidisciplinary team, working in our main hospital. You will be the first point of contact for the Mater Private Network patients.

The role is to provide an excellent patient experience while supporting our clinical staff in the delivery of quality medical care to our patients.

The Department operates flexible working hours. The standard week is 37 hours per week, shift patterns are 6am to 8pm over 5 days Monday\-Sunday.

Experience in a hospital environment is desirable.

Requirements for the above post:

Excellent PC skills including MS word, Excel and Outlook

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work on own initiative

Ability to work as part of a team with associated deadlines

Medical terminology and Dictaphone skills advantageous

Previous experience in a similar role and or hospital experience is desirable
