About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable CCTV Engineer Apprentice to join our growing security installation team. This apprenticeship provides hands\-on training in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of CCTV and security systems across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sites.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers while completing a funded CCTV engineering qualification supported by the Welsh Government.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of CCTV cameras, access control, and alarm systems
- Help with cable running, containment, and equipment mounting
- Learn how to configure IP cameras and network video recorders (NVRs)
- Support engineers during fault finding and maintenance visits
- Assist with testing and commissioning of systems
- Follow health \& safety procedures on all sites
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and practical training requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles responsibly
- Provide professional customer service on site
- Interest in electronics, technology, or security systems
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work on various sites
- Basic IT and networking knowledge desirable
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
- Monday to Friday
- Minimum of 16 hours per week
- Working hours will allow attendance at the apprenticeship training course
The successful candidate will work towards a recognised CCTV Engineer qualification, fully funded by the Welsh Government.

Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English preferred
- No previous experience required – full training provided
- Hands\-on industry experience
- Fully funded training and qualification
